hemorrhoid pain relief treatment using herbal remediesThe pain, the burning, the itching, the sheer horrendous embarrassment of knowing you have piles – and knowing others know you have it too. It is a physical and a social pain which is a nasty combination that sucks your energy and your confidence. so when the drugs do not work or give you very bad side effects where do you turn? Hemorrhoid relief treatment using herbal remedies is one option that is being used more and more by people unhappy with pharmaceutical solutions.

The second reason why I prefer herbal and natural remedies is that they work more in harmony with the body than drugs. Drugs are designed to force a result in a brutish forceful way that often leave many parts of the body in worse condition for at least a short time. More subtle, yet effective herbal remedies will often work on conjunction with other holistic treatments for many ailments including hemorrhoids – both internal and external.

One of the big advantages herbal remedies for hemorrhoid pain relief has is that they do not work against the body like much medication does. They are often milder, and work more in harmony with the body when used as part of a holistic treatment for piles. Pharmaceutical drugs on the other hand can be fast acting, but use a very simple and brute force approach to doing this which canbe quite negative on your body in the long term.

So if you think that hemorrhoid relief treatment using herbal remedies might be a solution for you, check the list below for some advice:

  • Aloe Gel: You can get this gel from many places as it is quite common, but you can also grow your own aloe vera plant and simply snipe off a piece of the leaf to get the sap directly. It can be applied topically to the hemorrhoid to stop pain and burning sensations.
  • Butchers Broom: This is another ointment that can be applied topically. It has a great effect on the itching sensation you get with piles and reduces it considerably. This can stop yuo scratching and rubbing which can hurt you more and make the hemorrhoids worse.
  • Calendula: This is another way to reduce pain – but importantly can lower inflammation which can be very uncomfortable. This can also be applied topically, but I find that it can be made into a strong infusion to be used in a sitz bath which works very well.
  • Horse Chestnut: This is a nut of course, but an extract can be made of it that is very beneficial to people with hemorrhoids. This extract can increase the elasticity of blood cell which sounds like an odd thing – but the effect is a noticeable decrease in swelling and inflammation.
  • Horsetail: This is another herb that can be used to help treat hemorrhoids. It is best used by making it into a tea that you can drink which is not unpleasant. This has been proven to treat bleeding hemorrhoids which can heal faster when the bleeding stops.

Be sure to check with your doctor of health professional if you have any issues with these herbal remedies for hemorrhoid relief treatment. They are relatively harmless, but anything taken in the wrong dosage or done incorrectly can be dangerous. If you use these remedies in conjunction with other holistic treatments for piles you will find that you can cure hemorrhoids for good!
